# [Plugin: Advanced Excerpt] ALWAYS adds "Read More" link…

 * This plugin seems to add an ellipsis and a “Read More” link even if the length
   of the content is LESS than the max length of the excerpt.
 * Am I missing something?
 * For example, say I have the excerpt length set to 50 words, and I have a blog
   post that is only 10 words long, when I call the_excerpt with Advanced Excerpt
   enabled, it still adds an ellipsis and the read more link.
 * This is NOT how the standard WP excerpt function works.
