Support » Plugin: Advanced Custom Fields » [Plugin: Advanced Custom Fields] Repeater fields not showing in admin, but still stored in post meta

  • Hi there,

    For some reason, my repeater fields stopped showing in the admin panel. There are no PHP errors coming in. I believe this happened on an upgrade from 3.0.6 (ish) to the latest version, but rolling back didn’t seem to help.

    The Client has about 100 repeater fields and they’re showing up when you look at the built in “Custom Fields” stuff with WordPress, but they’re not showing up at all under the repeater fields in the admin.

    Any idea what could’ve caused this? Would love to know how to fix this without having to re-input all 100 or so fields.

  • Anyone got any ideas here?

    Hi

    I cannot get my repeater fields to show on the page, also within the admin area of the page I cannot add anymore repeater fields.

    I have set my template up like this

    <div class="rightContent">
    		<div class="padding">
    			<?php while(the_repeater_field('explore_list')): ?>
    			<div class="exploreBox">
    				<h1><?php the_sub_field('explore_title'); ?></h1>
    				<div class="exploreImage"><img src="<?php echo get_field('explore_image'); ?>" alt="" /></div>
    				<div class="exploreText">
    					<p><?php echo get_field('explore_text'); ?></p>
    				</div>
    			</div>
    			<?php endwhile; ?>
    		</div>
    	</div>

    But nothing shows on the page, and when I got to my template in WordPress I cannot add anymore.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks

    Hi mumford66

    You code needs to use the the_sub_field and get_sub_field functions within the repeater loop.

    If you edit your code to use the correct functions, does that help?

    Thanks Elliot

    I will check, I start my code as follows

    `<?php while(the_repeater_field(‘explore_list’)): ?>
    <div class=”exploreBox”>
    <h1><?php the_sub_field(‘explore_title’); ?></h1>

    Is that right?
