    Hi demo38ltd

It should be sitting in the top level of nav under Settings.
If it isn’t there, I can only guess that another plugin you use has placed it’s menu in the same number position.

try editing acf.php on line 205 (in v3.1.0) and increasing / changing the number 81 in the last parameter slot.

Let me know how you go.

No worries. Not sure what you can do with future versions…
maybe I can check for a free space first…

what number did you change it too?

I ended up going with 181 just as a random test and it worked fine.

The plugin I installed most recently was Subscribe to Comments Reloaded, but honestly, I’m not sure that would be it since it doesn’t list itself in the WP admin main sidebar.

The plugin before that was BBPress, which does have items in the Admin sidebar. So, that might be the suspect item. That would have been around when I noticed that ACF was missing, because I had updated a couple plugins (Advanced Custom Fields too) about that time.

Thanks again for your help, ACF is a fantastic extension. If there is anything I could test, please let me know.

    Hi Elliot,
I think I found the extension that might have caused ACF to disappear from the Admin sidebar. I was just installing SEO Ultimate for a client (different site), and ACF went missing. I changed to 181 (just my random pick again), and that brought it right back.

    I hope that helps,
    Best regards,
    Jonathon

    Great,

I think I’ve found a fix for it in the next version.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Elliot,
I just tried the new update you rolled out, and it works like a charm 😉

Thanks for all your great work.

    Best,
    Jonathon

I am having this issue just now.(acf menu button missing on admin page) I am not sure when this happened. I can’t seem to find the fix you mentioned in previous post regarding changing the number on line 205. I am currently using v 3.5.7.2 but this happened when i had an earlier version installed. I upgraded and hoped it would return in the admin menu but alas not. I guess i will deactivate some plugins and see if that helps. Any other ideas? thanks.

Ok it’s definitely another plugin that’s causing this. I just deactivated an eu cookie law plugin and the menu item returned by magic. SO how can i have both plugins playing nicely together. Any tweaking? Much appreciated.
