[Resolved] [Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] Metaboxes and Widgets

  • Help! I just glibby updated to v1.3 on a live site but Metaboxes and Widgets no longer show anything and despite numerous attempts, I can’t get it to list anything (the progress bar takes a while to complete but produces nothing).

Much worse, all of the old restrictions are no longer enforced and, for example, parents can see lots of features only intended for teachers.

I am desperate to get back to where things were. The plugin was great but now that I rely on it, I am in a mess!

EDIT: Okay sorted – I was adding http:// at the front of the URL, I just tried without and it worked (although I now have to reset everything for all 7 groups). Phew!

    Hi Mystifier,
Do not panic. It ok. Just send create me a admin user to your Dashboard panel and I’ll check what is wrong.

Oh, and one more thing. New version has split restriction on Front-end and back-end.
This plugin allow to upgrade settings – http://whimba.com/download/plugins/aam-upgrader.zip
Just install it and activate. If you’ll see the message Plugin Activated it means that all settings upgraded. You can deactivate it and delete.
