• Hello:

I’m testing this plugin (adsense optimizer) for managing my adsense ads.
Other plugins asked for my adsense codes (not just the ID, but the full js script), but this one seems to generate the code by itself just from the id. The problem is that the generated code doesn’t look exactly like the code adsense gave to me, the main difference being “google_add_slot” is missing. Instead, other parameters like channel are present.

I have been looking into it and it looks like adsense codes were previously like that… but the plugin was recently updated (?).

I’m afraid I could be violating adsense’s TOS if I place a modified code on my page, isn’t there anyway to use my original code (even if it means not being able to change ad size and colors from Adsense Optimizer interface)? Thanks.

  • hi !

you are right ! it is the old adsense code, but it does’nt violate the adsense TOS. i’m already thinking about making a new version, where you also can enter the full code, but this will take a while. what function has the add_slot parameter ? if you don’t miss that function, no worry to use the old code.

    regards
