[Plugin: adsense] Google Adsense Help

I have a godaddy wordpress blog and I am trying to use google adsense. I copy the ad code and try to paste it in the text box and when I click save the code disappears and I don’t see the ad. Can anybody help with this issue? I called go daddy and they say that I am able to have ads on my blog since I have their hosting but some reason its not working 🙁
