• I am using the plugin and like it. But I can’t figure out how to do the following. I want USERS (lowest registered level) who try to log in through wp-login.php to get logged in and then kicked back to where they came from or to the front page. I don’t want them getting into wp-admin at all, even though I have deactivated all of the pages there.

Can Adminimize do this? I deactivate dashboard and indicate that the user should be sent to http://www.example.com/ in the box there, but when I try it by logging in with a user account, it redirects to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/http://www.example.com/

(which throws a 404 of course)

  • No, Adminimize give you an redirect to a page in the backend. For only login and redirect to the frontpage use Authenticater, i think, this is the plugin for your idea.
Maybe a will change the options in the next version of Adminimize for redirect to all URLs.

you could use redirect plugins for this (Peter’s redirect login is one that comes to mind).
