# Plugin Admin Pages Not Installing

 * I was trying to use a cascading dropdown menu for my categories and installed
   numerous plugins to achieve this. Unfortunately every single plugin I activated
   will not install their admin settings pages in the WordPress Settings menu.
 * I just upgraded yesterday to 2.8.4 in hopes of fixing this problem but it did
   nothing. The creator of one of the plugins suggested the problem was due to another
   plugin messing with the admin panel. I haven’t added anything new in a long time
   and I’ve deactivated the last I installed prior, but still there’s no change.
 * What would cause this?

 * IT seems that your are using 2.8.4 and this plugin is not compatible with this
   version. Hence, search for another one.

 * ALL the plugins I tried aren’t compatible? That seems like a stretch considering
   the very last thing I tried to use ([here](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-cumulus/))
   says it’s compatible with my version, yet it’s not installing the admin settings
   for it.
