[Plugin: Admin Menu Editor] Notification Bubble doesn't work after menu modifications

  • Hello,

I’ve a problem with Admin Menu Editor. I would change an item which have a notification bubble (like Dashboard > Updates or Plugins). These menus have this code after when an update is available :
    <span class="update-plugins count-1"><span class="plugin-count">1</span></span>

If I don’t change menu item with Admin Menu Editor, the counter works. But when I modify the title of item, the counter doesn’t work anymore. (even if I let the “span” in its place)

Could you please say to me what I have to do to fix that ?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to replace the menu title with a custom one but keep the notification bubble. Your new title will completely overwrite the old title.

Note that you can still change other menu properties like permissions, CSS classes and so on and it won’t affect the notification bubble.
