• If I go to my Google Analytics account > Content > Event Tracking > Categories, there is no category for AddToAny.

On the blogs on my site you can see several likes, but they don’t seem to get registered (they neither pop up on facebook), because I can’t seem to find them anywhere in GA.

Which direction should I be looking at?

  • Did you resolve this issue? I have the same problem, and i cant figure out what is wrong.

AddToAny now integrates with Google Analytics’ Social Interaction Tracking. Here’s a guide to accessing the sharing stats within Google Analytics:

If you’re still not seeing data then post the URL to your site so we can look more closely to see if anything is amiss.

    Hi folks!

I’m having the same problem. Can you have a look at http://xbmcmediacenter.com

The events don’t show up either on social or event tracking.

    Thanks!

@hudokkow the widget is successfully sending clicks to Facebook (for example) to your Google Analytics. Can you again check your Visitors > Social panel in G.A. after the next 24 hours or so?

    Hi.
Thanks for taking the time to look at this. It is now working ok.
I had another plugin turned on that was messing with addtoany functionality. I can now see facebook events on GA and will be testing with twitter events. g+ works OK.

Thanks and sorry for assuming something was wrong with addtoany. I should know better by now…

I think it works now, at least it shows up facebook. And i found some hits on GA. I’ll be tracking it in the near future.

    Ok.
New update, same site -> http://xbmcmediacenter.com

I don’t know what’s going on but the only tracking working 100% is Google+. Apart from that, some facebook shares are appearing correctly on GA but others don’t show. They simply don’t show under GA.

Twitter is an entirely different story. It doesn’t track any. No twitter shares under GA… and I know for a fact that they are there and should appear under GA.

@micropat, can you investigate this further?

    Thanks.

Specifically the Facebook Like, & Twitter Tweet, and the Google +1 button are not yet setup to be tracked in G.A. unfortunately. But this is planned for a near future release. 🙂

All other standalone services and services within the sharing menu are setup for G.A. tracking.
