[Resolved] [Plugin: AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Buttons] Add to any- posting email address

  • Have this installed, when I click to share on Facebook it will post this:
    Kicking the Cat out! -Subject title, that’s okay
    http://fatgoatwalks.co.uk/?p=940 -blog post, that’s okay

    fatgoatwalks.co.uk – Mark Blackligh -website address okay too, but, part of my email address (in bold for highlighting reasons here) that really isn’t okay. I have looked all through the backend database and facebook settings but I can’t find where this is and it never used to do this before my last upgrade. any help anyone?

    It’s not the AddToAny update, it’s your theme:

    <!-- This site is using Weaver V2.0 subtheme: Wheat -->
    <meta name="description" content=" fatgoatwalks.co.uk - Mark Blackligh " />

    Many thanks for this. Would you happen to know in which file this might be so that I can edit it out?

    Okay I found that:
    <meta name=”description” content=” fatgoatwalks.co.uk – Mark Blackligh ” />

    In the Weaver admin page and removed the – Mark Blackligh part, however, it’s still posting as above. So I deduce that plugin must be reading this from a configuration setting somewhere and echoing it to the addtoany form to parse to facebook. My question would then be – where is this happening?

    Still not AddToAny. 🙂 Facebook caches shared pages for a certain number of hours. Running Facebook’s linter tool caused Facebook’s cache to refresh so now you’re good to go.
