    I've updated the plugin but I'm not given any option to include the +1 button.

    I assume it would be available in the Basic menu, but I'm not seeing it there or in the Advanced menu. What am I missing?

    if you expand the options for either above the post or below the post (click on "additional style options" - http://www.diigo.com/item/image/1e2da/i6ho) you'll see the plus one option - http://www.diigo.com/item/image/1e2da/pg13

    @jorbin - thanks for the pictures.

    As it turns out, my plugin didn't update properly. I manually uploaded it this morning and got it to work.

    @dave - take a look at this thread on our forums. It should help you out. http://www.addthis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=31953&sid=fccebce973c5bbf5158098ccd5e55875

    @andrewmccauley Glad to hear everything is working again.

    @Jorbin Thanks, not no real solution there. The button simply is not appearing.

    Might be a plugin conflict or the like, but doubting it as the other add this buttons are appearing.

    I've manually inserted +1 and it's working fine with out Addthis.

    I'm using the following service codes

    Facebook, Twitter and Google Buzz works, but at Google +1 I only have a red cross.

    As you can sea here: http://twitpic.com/56scdt

    I already used the hack for removing wp_head and wp_generator. And I updated the AddThis Plugin.

    @dave - There are some issues with the asynchronous loading which is what you are probably seeing.

    @TIIUNDER - do you have google_plus_one or google_plusone in the custom config? The former would cause that, the latter should work.

    Posted 5 years ago #

    No, I used google_plusone, as you can sea above. I also tried googleplusone and google_plus_one. Nothing works. google_plusone SHOULD work (like here http://www.addthis.com/services/list), but it DOESN'T work.

    btw, I'm using

    <?php do_action('addthis_widget', get_permalink(), the_title_attribute('echo=0')); ?>

    in my theme. And I use the Advanced Tab options for configure the plugin.

    I hope, this is still supported?

    @tiiunder - Can you point me to a URL that this is happening on so I can take a look?

    Posted 5 years ago #

    I use Addthis at http://www.felix-griewald.de

    Some minutes ago, I had the correct button, but it didn't work.
    But the plugin is showing the wrong buttons now. It should show Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz and Google +1.

    Those are the options that I am shown.

    If you (or the other visitors to your site) have used AddThis on another, your preferences (the services that you have used) are shown. You can read more about personalization at http://www.addthis.com/blog/2010/11/04/tip-personalize-your-addthis-sharing/

    OK, the mentioned bug seams to be fixed. Now the Google +1 Button appears (no red cross anymore). But: Clicking on the Google +1 Button only opens a blank AddThis-site and doesn't do anything. If I go back, it appears a Google Mail Button instead of the Google +1 Button.

    Plus one doesn't work if you use the custom service list. I'll make sure that is properly messaged in the next version.

    Instead, if you want to include +1 in a custom configuration you should use the "Custom / Build your own" option inside. To do that with do_action('addthis_widget' , the third paramater that you pass in should be an array. The array should be an associative array and looks for four parts

    * size - either 16 or 32. Defaults to 16 (if anything other then 32 is entered, it defaults to 16)
    * services - lower case comma sepperated list of services (string)
    * preferred - number of Prefered services to be displayed after listed services (int)
    * more - bool to show or not show the more icon at the end (bool)

    I tried this

    $addThisArray = array("size" => 16,
    "services" => "twitter,facebook,googlebuzz,google_plusone",
    "preffered" => 0,
    "more" => true);
    do_action('addthis_widget', get_permalink(), $addthisArray);

    But it looks like before
