[Plugin: Add Linked Images To Gallery] Doesn't work with xml imported from Tumblr, any workarou

Hello,

I’m trying to use this plug-in to automatically import images from an XML which I exported from Tumblr and then imported into WordPress.

I think the problem is that images are linked like this:
http://www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/14859976995/1/tumblr_lwv5g7iKNi1qd2m95
Without a proper image file extension and that’s why the plug-in fails to retrieve any images.

Is there any workaround for this?
