Support » Plugin: Add Link to Facebook » [Plugin: Add Link to Facebook] gallery shortcode showing at the begining of Facebook post.
All posts on WP that use image gallery are posted on Facebook with a piece of shortcode at the beginning of post text. Something like [gallery link="file" orderby="title"] and then the post text. How can I correct this?
See the FAQ, question U38.
Thank you, I’m going to try this and I’ll let you now, there are some posts scheduled for later on.
I have those options checked but my picture html are appearing in the facebook post instead of the picture. Here’s a sample of what is showing up in the post
[caption id="" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Zoey happy to be sitting up"][/caption]
You have to add the link for the post again, if you changes these options and one of them should be disabled, not enabled.
I have this config and it’s working correctly:
Execute shortcodes in widgets: unchecked
Do not execute shortcodes for texts: checked
Do not execute filters for texts: unchecked
Do not execute filters for comments: checked
Thank you, Marcel.
I put the settings as electrofied did and the post text is correct, no html.
However, I can’t get the first image of my post to appear in the Facebook entry. I have that option selected in the settings.
Do you have the Open Graph Protocol enabled? (a plugin option)
