[Plugin: Absolute Privacy] problem if users created by admin

  • I couldn’t see an answer to this. I’ve been using this plugin for a while, and it works well in terms of restricting access. It may also be fine for setting up users when they register themselves. However, when I as admin add users myself, there is a glitch (I’m doing this under complete lockdown):

    – I add the user and check the ‘send email’ box
    – the user then gets a ‘your account is under review email’
    – But they are actually accepted already, and there is no-one in the ‘to moderate list’, so they are not sent the email with their username and password, and I have no way of getting it sent.

    In the end I have deactivated the plugin, re-added the users, and reactivated it.

    Any other suggestions?

    Many thanks

    @bengtsbengaler

    I have exactly the same problem.

    Suppose that it needs an update that checks if the registration are made from admin or user!

    In this case, the “Account Approval Message” shoud be sent instead of the “Pending Welcome Message”-message …

    I’m experiencing exactly the same issue.
    Any news on a resolution?
