[Plugin: (a) Slideshow] Slideshow link to a url

  • I was mainly looking for a slideshow where clicking on an image sends you to a url, in my case in the same blog.

This one works by putting “name=”http://blog.com” into the img tag. Great! But, when you go back and forth from the visual to the html editor, WP strips out the “name=…” which makes it very very hard to use. Any ideas?

  • Hey makwak, did you get some resolution (obviously not via this forum) to your question? I’ve been looking for the same, and have found a couple (such as WP Carousel), but that tool does not work well with images of different widths (for instance). (a)Slideshow seems to work well with images of various sizes, but I, too, need them to link to other URLs — I’d like to present the logos of sponsors that, when clicked, go to the sponsors’ sites.

This is a widget. Not sure if it can be used in templates.
