Support » Plugin: Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce » Very buggy plug

  • I don’t write negative reviews very often. I own a small business and I appreciate how much these hurt. However, this plug deserves it.

Let’s start with consistency. This plug does not perform equally across most major browsers and never has. User made changes to feeds often do not stick. The user has to constantly redo changes hoping they will stick this time, refresh and wait… Then, when a feed actually gets generated, often times the receiving platform will reject products for constantly changing reasons/criteria. I’ve had it happen many times where Google Shopping will reject my whole product feed because of say ‘missing product weight’, only to search in my feed settings to find it properly mapped, resubmit the feed and have the error disappear. Imagine that happening multiple times over and over again with EVERY FEED.

Overall responsiveness lags, it takes forever to generate a feed and/or view the results/products. Also, there is an update every other day but overall performance never seems to increase. Functionality is limited; for those running a complex store with complicated inventory, this is NOT the product for you. If you want to pay money for functionality you could get for free from other plugs, you have come to the right place.

In short, I gave a list of improvements I felt would dramatically increase this plug-in’s effectiveness to the developers and was told they already have ‘to much to do’. I also gave them an ‘out’ which they did not accept so here I am.

On the bright side, email support is very quick but only provides solutions to basic problems. Support contact info is also difficult to find.
