plug-in Under drop-in

    I have upgraded my plugins recently and since then I have the kitchen sink and visual mode is gone where I can write posts. The comments are off. And on the plug-ins there is one tab added – drop-ins. The comment says “Drop-ins are advanced plugins in the /wp-content directory that replace WordPress functionality when present.”

    Why do I have this mysterious drop-in appeared on the website? Is because of this plug-in I am having the issues? How to get rid of this plugin?

    i have the same problem. it says that i have 1 drop in in located in wp-content directory but i can find it there. i tried un installing wordpress using fantastico but the website is still up! is that possible? please help me with this. by the way the drop in file is install.php
