Plug-in to prompt visitors to download Adobe Flash Player?

  • I am looking for a plug-in that looks to see if the visitor has Adobe Flash Player installed, and if they don’t, then they will receive a prompt to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

  • why? The user’s browser will do that if they don’t have flash

Not necessarily. In my place of work, a particular individual couldn’t view a Vimeo video because she either didn’t have Flash Player or had one that was out of date. I had to show her how to download/install it, and when she did, she was able to view the Vimeo video.
