Support » Plugin: AGCA - Custom Dashboard & Login Page » Plug in not working for non Administrators

  • Hi Support
I have ticked the option ‘Exclude AGCA admin from customizations’
However when I log in as another user eg Editor it still has standard Editor menu selections and not the modified ones done in AG Customer Menu Settings.
Also the Dashboard notification doesn’t show.
Nothing changed when logged in as Editor.
Not sure what I did, but must be something.
    Your help would be appreciated.

Merry Christmas & thanks in advance for your support

    Hi Dave,

Please check Capabilities option on General page, it’s set by default to edit_dashboard. You should change it to something higher, capability that only administrators have.

Thanks, all the best to you.

    Hi Support
I have tried changing Capabilities option on General page to update-plugins, activate-plugins, edit-users, update-theme and still no difference.
    Any other ideas?
    Kind Regards
    Dave

It looks like your editor somehow has admin capabilities. Please try installing some plugin for advanced role management and check all role capabilities. Check which capability is used only by administrators, and you may pick that one. If you’re not sure edit_dashboard should work by default.

    Best Regards,
