plug in not showing up

    First I opened the file and it came up in notepad. Then I transfer the wordpress-automatic-update.zip to my host in ftp but it doesn’t show up in he plug in manager.

    I also tried saving it as wordpress-automatic-update.php and created a folder for it named wordpress-automatic-update and tried to transfer that. It doesn’t show up. What did I do wrong?
