Plug in needed to do WordPress => MySQL (CRUD)

I am looking for a plug in to access a simple table in a MySQL database. I will need to do pretty standard Create/Retrieve/Update/Delete functionality. I have not been able to find a plugin that simplifies this very much. I am a old Java/JSP/JavaBeans coder and don’t know how to spell PHP, and would therefore like to avoid it as much as possible.
