 * Many plug in sites suggest using plug in manager for easy 1 click installations.
   Yet the website ( [http://wp-plugins.net/](http://wp-plugins.net/) ) has disabled
   plug in manager. Is there anything similar one can use or a newer version of 
   the plug-in available somewhere else?

 * I’m not aware of another ‘plugin manager’ and I believe that the development 
   of the existing one is on hold indefinitely.
 * As far as I know there are no plugins that absolutely require the plugin manager
   though.
