# Plug-In Installation Failure

 * I just installed Akismet with no problems, but when I attempted to install All-
   In-One-SEO-Pack I receive the following error:
 * Download failed.: Could not create Temporary file
    Installation Failed
 * I received that same error when I first tried to install WordPress.com Stats,
   but when I looked in the Manage Plug-Ins panel there it was. I activated it and
   it seemed to have activated properly. However, the SEO Pack did not do this. 
   I tried many times and I still receive the error and it is NOT present in the
   Manage Plug-Ins panel.
 * Please assist.

 * This post is to assist another who may have had problems such as mine.
 * The resolution was to make sure the folder that WP was in could be written to.
   So when I changed the permissions, all went well.
