Plug-in installation

    I don’t have the Add New option under plugins. I’ve seen this problem discussed before , but I’ve never seen a solution.

    Under users check your profile. Are you logged in with admin privileges?

    Definitely, no “Add New” to be seen in either Toolbar or Dashboard.

    Have you tried
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I’m using the 2011 theme, but I’ll try some of the other suggestions–thanks.
