Support » Plugins » Plug-in "IF MENU" amd "GROUP" how to work together?

  • hello to everyone,
I’m new of WordPress but I’d like to require collaboration to solve an issue I have.
On my site I’d like to DON’T show some menu items to every users logged in, but just to someone.
    My idea is to use
    – “If menu” plugin to add conditional viewing of menu items
    – “groups” plugin to create specific group of user, e.g.” TRUSTED”

Problem. I saw that is possible to add / customize in “if menu” plugin the condition to apply for showing/hiding menu items. unfortunately standard “conditional tags” are not able to filtering users that belong to specific user group. I’d like to create a new conditional tag to check if a logged user is belonging to “TRUSTED” user group. (e.g.: is_user_group(“TRUSTED”))

    Reference links:

    2) http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-conditional-logic-to-menus-in-wordpress/

Do you have some idea/suggestion or “code lines” to explain me how to make this hack??
    Thanks
    Giampaolo
