Plug-in for uploading plug-ins?

    Hi guys,

wouldn’t it be useful to be able to upload plug-ins directly via administration screen? I think, especially for new-comers the step of using ftp to upload a plug-in into the plug-in directory is quite annoying and error prone.

Joomla, for instance, has that: you simply upload an extension zip file via upload screen and installation is automatic – no ftp whatsoever. It would be simple to have the same in wordpress with a “plug-in upload” plug-in.

Does that exist already? If not, it might be a good idea to write that. Maybe I would find some time to do that.

    Greets,
    Igor

Dont worry. It already exists.Search for “one click” plugin or the “plugin central” plugin in the wordpress plugin database. You will find exactly what you want.
