[Plug In: Contact Form 7] Cannot change text field/area size for sidebar

Hi there,
I need to shorten the width of the form in the sidebar. I used the maxlength and size fields to specify the size but the form in the sidebar is not resizing.

I read that I can change the sidebar css but I don’t want to affect all of the forms, only the sidebar. I am also using CF7 for other forms on my site that do not need resizing.

Please help me figure out what is going on, I’ve been at this for hours!
Also the email field does not have the same styling as the rest of the fields, where can I make the change for that?
