Can you please cross RSS feeds are not disabled ?
Go to WP Security > Firewall > Basic firewall rules tab, check there Disable RSS and ATOM feeds is not checked. If uncheck it and save.
Let me know if it solved the issue.

I try install the convertkit plugin it seems It is based on API.
Please cross check WP Security > Miscellaneous > WP REST API tab, have Disallow unauthorised rest request it is not checked.
If still issue not solved WP Security > Firewall > 6g black list firewall rules, try disabled 6g and 5g firewall rules.
WP Security > Firewall > Additional firewall rules tab have Deny bad query string and Enable advanced character filter if those option enabled try disable it also if above 2 not enabled and still issue was.

If you find any thing in error log also please let us know. Also how this RSS feed email works if you can provide more details it would be helpful.
Also you said issue is in 5.1.7 it is latest release, before is this future was working fine ?

@hjogiupdraftplus thankyou. I basically am getting the below error message on Convertkit
Failed to draft Broadcast – We encountered an error drafting your Broadcast, and will try again shortly. After about 30 minutes it then fails to send.
ConvertKit have basically said it’s not them, it’s the connection to the site and to check your RSS setup with your hosting provider. I then checked with my host, Siteground who said on the server itself, “there were no changes made, which can affect the RSS”
@hjogiupdraftplus Convertkit RSS feed is set up so that Broadcasts ie RSS articles will be scheduled to send 30 minutes after they are drafted.. so it takes about 30 minutes to see if they have been sent or not after publishing from my website. Thanks again!

If I cross check convertkit you tried Automate RSS feeds to subscribers there. You have to set the feed url for that and while accessing this feed url by convertkit has issue. Right ?

Because it should be used to fetch feed and to send to subscriber the updates by convertkit. IF you can access the feed url and convertkit cross check their IP address is not blocked aiowps_permanent_block table do have any entry ?
@hjogiupdraftplus hello, when I enable the AIOS plug in, and clickon https://www.flyingwithababy.com/feed/ , the url opens.
I just tried again to see if RSS works and DISABLED AIOS plugin again and published a brand new post for Convertkit to send via RSS email and it went through with no problems so the issue is definitely still there.

I can access the feed with AIOS plugin is activated. Do i need to ask Convertkit something and if so so what should I be asking them please? I don’t know what “aiowps_permanent_block table do have any entry’ means or what that is! Sorry!

If you enable the AIOS plugin and still the feed url open Convertkit should read from that feed url the contents and send email to subscribers

If you can view the feed data even AIOS plugin is on and convertkit server not getting just have to make sure that convertkit IP not blocked by AIOS for that you have to cross check aiowps_permanent_block table.

ok – how do i access the aiowps_permanent_block table from the Plug in settings please on wordpress, and how will i know what the Convertkit IP address is? Thank you!

Please cross check WP Security > Dashboard > Permanently blocked IP addresses there you may find the Blocked IP addresses so you do not have to check database table aiowps_permanent_block.
Also the Convertkit IP address you have to ask them If you find any record in blocked IP address.
