    On a staging site…

    I attempted to upload a new download – was trying to remember how to do it. (I’ve had DM on my site for 10 years!) WHen I attempted to put the download on a page I got a “critical error” and couldn’t get to the page at all. I deactivated DM which gave me access to the page. There I had a message that I didn’t have access to DM Buttons (I do) – changed the page to code. Deleted the message. Went back to plugin directory and DM plugin is not in the list!

    Now what? If I reinstall DM will it find all the downloads I already have? Do I have to start from the beginning all over again? Here’s one of my pages: https://staging1.sharinghousing.com/worksheets-housemates-interview-selection-roommate/… I have other’s where DM is used.

    Hey @ria_amp ,

    Sorry to hear that!

    It’s safe to remove and reinstall Download Monitor. Your downloads are stored in your database and unless specifically selected in the plugin, the database is not touched on plugin delete.
