  • Has anyone been able to use nice permalinks within a Plesk environment? I have tried multiple times and no matter what I do it hasn’t worked. I’m not sure if its the httpd.conf that’s taking precendence. If you want to see my latest attempt, the .htaccess can be viewed here.

I really don’t want to have to modify the httpd.conf because it will get overwritten every time Plesk is upgraded, and I’d have to go update 120+ WP installs.

Anyhow, if you’ve had any luck, could you please share – I’m going batty.

I don’t know anything about Plesk, but there’s some common debugging tips here, which you may have already seen.

Perhaps more useful, though, would be one of Ryan‘s Rewrite Plugins which help eliminate .htaccess woes by doing everything internally in WordPress.
