 * So very sad that this plugin has disappeared from the Tools menu in the newest
   version of WordPress. I had about 15 more posts to go to complete my site, and
   had let it sit for awhile – now I have to find something else. When it worked,
   it was simple and elegant and did just what it was supposed to – convert pages
   to posts or vice versa.

   works very well for short-term tasks of this nature.
