I just foolishly updated one of my blogs from Raindrops 1.455 to 1.456, and with the update the layout changed yet again in a way I neither expected nor wanted. I love your theme, but it’s becoming very challenging to deal with since each time I can’t update my blogs until I figure out what is changed and how I can undo any severe changes.

For example, with this most recent update, adding a 1em padding to the “.index article” div creates a huge problem, on my layout it adds 32px of padding and that in turn shrinks my images and header fonts in the process, as well as on the main page causing everything to push away creating too much whitespace, all for an unwelcome change to begin with. And even when I tracked that down, there’s a second padding that’s been added still separating blog entry from blog entry, I ended up having to zero out padding and margin on “ul.index > li” just to get it to look similar, didn’t have margin or padding in the previous version from what I can tell, but now it does.

I hate to knock this theme at all, it’s one of my absolute all-time favorites with a lot of clever design and customizability that’s second to none, but it is becoming a chore to keep operating consistently from update to update.
