    Please remove Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version from backend unless someone report plugin as broken.

    Because it confuse people a lot.

    Otherwise it will force me (and other devs) to commit changes of README file only and this lead to unnecessary downloads of the same code every time new WP released.

    Please do not make same mistakes Joomla did with J!3. If plugin devs will think about The Codex only, but not with versions it will be much better.

    This is done to let people know that the plugin developer only tested till previous version and not current version of wordpress.

    So try the plugin at your own risk.

    Not sure why it should confuse someone. We normally try and plugin if it doesn’t work just remove it and use another.
