    SPECIFICALLY,

Please remove the above image and or associated links to our website/s as we have a copyright infringement request.

    GENERALLY,

Also, please advise how we can identify/view/completely remove other images hosted/cached by Jetpack. Would it be simplest (or even possible) to delete all images cached by Jetpack? (I don’t believe we use photon now, but may have done at some point.

It appears that images deleted many years ago from our site are still ‘discoverable’ (and leading to liability on our part). We were originally hosted at wp.com, but 2yrs ago moved to a new host. There may be cached images associated with both domains. Also, we changed domain name, so there may even be a third set of images. How can this be verified / tracked down?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there

I have purged the specified image from our cache, but please note that if the original image is still present at the original URL, then it will be recached if that URL is visited again.

In order to remove cached images, we need the specific URLs of each image, we don’t have a way to purge all images for a site at once.

If you want to prevent Photon from caching your images completenly, you can block the Photon user-agent at the server-level. You will need to block ‘Photon/1.0’.

    Hope that helps!

Sorry, I have only just understood your message.

    The image has returned.

I have now deleted it from the media library, so it should not regenerate.

Please can you flush it again?

I removed it again, but the original image is still present (try removing https://i0.wp.com/ from the start of the URL and you’ll see the image still loads).

I think the image you are seeing loading is coming from the original source file at the Mirror (newspaper site). When I remove the initial part of the URL as you suggest the remaining part redirects to “https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article9596832.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/FRANCE-ANIMALS-AUROCHS.jpg”

Have I made a mistake, and it is nothing to do with my site? Perhaps this is coming from the mirror (newspaper) site?
