Please, need to add titles to galleries

    Please, I’ve been trying to do this and can’t figure it out. I really, really need to be able to add titles to the individual galleries. I saw a few other posts about this, but it looked as if you need to create another template? I am very limited in PHP skills. Is there a way to do this?

    I did find some threads about this, but they were five years old. I don’t think whatever solution was found would work by now. Has no one else found a way to do this recently, without having to create a new template?

    Hurray, figured it out!!!!!!

    I was using the caption template for this gallery, because the images need captions, as well as the title of the gallery. So I pasted this:

    <?php echo $gallery->title ?>

    into this file:

    wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php

    and it worked! So happy, and I hope someone else is able to use this easy fix, as well.
