Hello, the googleplus links rel=”author” and rel=”publisher” are not working properly on my site. I want to get rid of them, but my only option at the moment is to comment the out of the code, which will no doubt be overwritten the next time I upgrade. Can you please make these optional?
They are optional. To remove them go to All in One SEO, General Settings and scroll down to the Google Settings box. Remove your Google+ profile from the Google Plus Default Profile field and click the Update Options button. Then go to Users and edit each user. Make sure that the Google+ field is empty.
Thank you, that is helpful. I still would like an option to turn off this feature globally. Some of our users are putting wrong information into their Google+ field, and it is creating broken links. Our SEO manager asked me to take care of this once and for all.
