# Please Help with Setup

 * I know I will sound like an idiot here…but I cannot figure out how to make this
   work. I have read through the Github site, and I see the code but I do not know
   where to put it. I tried in my functions.php and I get a parse error.
 * I have my form on a page. I want to now let a user edit that form. They do not
   need to be logged in. So, do I create an “EDIT” link?
 * Do I create a new page? I’m sorry to sound so ignorant, I just don’t know what
   to do…and I really want to use this.
 * I appreciate any help … thank you. I am obviously new to WP, but I can copy/paste
   the hell out of anything (lol), and I am good with researching but I just need
   a nudge I guess…thank you.

 * You should look at the shortcodes:
    [https://bitbucket.org/jupitercow/gravity-forms-update-post#markdown-header-shortcode](https://bitbucket.org/jupitercow/gravity-forms-update-post#markdown-header-shortcode)
 * It can be a bit overwhelming, but that is the easiest way.
 * `[gravityforms id="1" update="34"]`
 * Would allow you to add a Gravity Form with id 1, and have it update a post with
   id 34. The “update” parameter is just an extra argument this plugin adds to the
   normal Gravity Forms shortcode.
