Please help with Install? Failed to open stream: No such file or directory

    We REALLY need this system – it’s exactly what we’re looking for, but it has me pretty nervous already.

    When installing the plugin, I get:

    Warning: require_once(__DIR__/composer/autoload_real.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/html/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/vendor/autoload.php on line 5

    Can anyone help me with this?

    Additional error I’m getting now:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/72/5493172/html/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/admin/post-types/post-tables/class.llms.admin.post.table.orders.php on line 318

    @tlatham,

    I’m sorry you’re having issues with LifterLMS and that it’s responding with fatal errors like this.

    These errors in particular are clear indications of your server not meeting the minimum system requirements of LifterLMS.

    At a minimum, LifterLMS requires PHP 5.6 or later (https://lifterlms.com/docs/minimum-system-requirements-lifterlms/)

    I’d recommend hopping to 7.0 (or 7.2 would be even better) should your host support it.

    The errors you’re encountering would occur on PHP 5.2 or lower. 5.2 has been unsupported by PHP ITSELF for more than 7 years now (http://php.net/eol.php). Using software this old is not only going to cause LifterLMS to crash but it leaves your site vulnerability to 7 years worth of security issues that would be closed by using a current version of PHP!

    I’d recommend working with your host to get upgraded to a current version of PHP.
