• I really cant figure out whats going on.. but its driving me nuts!

Im having issues getting domain mapping to work the way I expect it to… I followed all of the instructions to the letter, all went ok, all looks like described.

    http://ottopress.com/2010/wordpress-3-0-multisite-domain-mapping-tutorial/

    Ill explain my setup first:

I have a blog in a subfolder of my main domain: domain.com/blog1

I originally setup mynewdomain.com as a mapped domain to above, set it as primary, and it seems to work!

However, I also have mynewdomain.net which when selected, shows the root blog installation domain.com.

Ive also set up a 3rd domain (parked, like the others, CNAME pointing to website root mycomain.com, which has an A record of the websites static IP), abc.com and mapped it under mydomain.com/blog1 settings. When I select this, it goes to the website root domain.com.

Im very tempted to uninstall/reinstall the whole lot, as I cant fiugre out whats going on… Its like WP isnt managing the redirect properly.

Also, is it possible to simply change the primary domain of the blog? Afterall, does this not ismply redirect to domain.com/blog1 anyway? I really wnat it to be mydomain.net (instead of .com), but when I change it, I cant access the site from any domain! Its my understanding that the primary domain is the address that will be shown in the browser when any of the mapped domains are used – so you can chop and change between them?

Can someone please offer any help???
