This was what I did: Installed the plugin > Network activated it > created secure.htaccess file> Activated Security Mode > The website got white blank page and I could not access the site any more.
Before installing this plugin, my website had been very fine with Better WP Security. BulletProof Security seems to be very Comprehensive solution and I just wanted to give it a try. But for me, installing this plugin was really a disaster. My site has been down for a half day and the files become a mess. Too bad I did not make a good backup because I thought things would be very easy.

I hope someone can help me. I don’t mind to pay for a premium support service to get my website back. Currently I am thinking about 2 solutions:
Solution 1: I need someone to help me to completely remove this plugin and get my site back like it had been before. Free of mind.
Solution 2: I will buy BulletProof Security Pro version and I hope the plugin author or someone else can help to make my site running with this plugin. Actually, if this plugin works like being claimed, it will deserve to be the very great WordPress Security Plugin. But I think there are some conflicts with my current plugins (Better WP Security maybe)

All bets are off if you still have Better WP Security installed and yes we have 100% confirmation the Better WP Security now breaks BPS and BPS Pro as well as numerous other WordPress plugins. The last 4-5 versions of Better WP Security are breaking and crashing websites and breaking a lot of other plugins including BPS and BPS Pro.

    Your options:
Either delete Better WP Security from your website. This is fairly complex to do, but I see that someone in the Better WP Security plugin support forum has documented all the steps that need to be done to delete Better WP Security – Requires manual file and database table deletions.

    Delete BPS from your website
    1. Use FTP or your web host control panel file manager and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder and the .htaccess file in your wp-admin folder.
    2. Log back into your site and delete the BPS plugin.

Also if you choose to keep Better WP Security then do not use any other .htaccess based plugins – W3TC, WP Super Cache, BPS, BPS Pro, All in One WP Security and Firewall, etc etc etc. Better WP Security breaks all other .htaccess based plugins as well as numerous non-htaccess based plugins.

    Thank you.
I need your confirmation: are these 3 plugins compatible with each other:
    – BulletProof Security Pro
    – All In One WP Security & Firewall
    – Wordfence Security (free and pro version)

BPS Pro is compatible with all WordPress plugins. There is only 1 known incompatibility with BPS Pro and the JobRoller theme. If you are using BPS Pro then actually you do not need to use any other security plugins.

I stand corrected – BPS and BPS Pro are broken by Better WP Security so the Better WP Security plugin is now the only plugin that is not compatible with BPS or BPS Pro. 😉

Assuming all questions have been answered – thread has been resolved. If you still have additional questions regarding this specific issue then please post those additional questions. Thank you.

To be honest with you at this point in BPS development, using BPS and iThemes Security together would be the same as using WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache together. You would want to pick one or the other instead of using both together.

See this forum topic for more information: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/how-to-fix-bps-conflicts-with-better-wp-security-ithemes-security/

    thnx for the tip.
