    Hi there park13. You would need The Events Calendar active, not deactivated, in order to fully use the plugin. Are you saying that for the first screenshot, that only occurred when you installed The Events Calendar? Events themselves are managed as an Events custom post type, not regular Posts, so I’m wondering if something else might be at play here.

    Do you have any other plugins active that could be messing up the buttons, etc? When you say Events Calendar, can you confirm it’s The Events Calendar (which is actually a separate plugin from Events Calendar)? Let me know and we can try to help you get this sorted.
