Hi, A friend set everything up for me so I could use wordpress to update my website since he was leaving the country. He made it seem easy as pie. Now that I want to make a slight correction to my very simple site: http://www.parasytecurse.com it is not working. Here is what I do: I make sure that the Bitnami wordpress stack is running (I think it is. I have the black box open.), I log into wordpress and try to make my simple correction (on my home page. Listed under "posts" in WordPress), and hit "publish", but nothing happens on the actual website. When I preview or "visit site" from wordpress, it is fine, but not on the actual website.

I don't understand why it is not working, and I am not really familiar with building websites (obviously). It seems like I am missing something, or forgetting one very simple step. Or maybe wordpress isn't "communicating" my change to the site. I am doing everything just as he explained. Does anyone know what it might be? I would greatly appreciate any and all help. Thanks so much!

Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. That should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

I really appreciate your reply. I forgot to mention that I have tried that as well, no luck. I have also tried to clear cache, etc. and even when I use a different browser, still no luck. Thanks so much for your help though!

Your code is truncated before the end of the page and contains major errors.

Thanks so much iridiax. So it is the code. I will try to fix. If I can't I will get someone who can. Thanks again! You're great!
