Please help – I am lost with uploading

Good morning:

I have just set up my new theme and am working on my blog. I want to add a few plugins but don’t understand how to do it.

On the WordPress page I found a “Social Stickers” plug in and downloaded it. Now it says to:

Upload the plugin directory to to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory

I don’t even know what that means.

Can someone please help? I’m really lost.
