  • Hi! I need to add child pages (drop down) to my menu bar; however, my client does not want the menu to look as if the pages are in folder (e.g., Contact-us.html/Refer a friend/). He would like a drop down menu without the forward slash (/) (e.g., the refer would be under the Contact Us, but it will appear NOT to be in a folder). So the url would lokk like mysite.com/refer-a-friend.html and NOT mysite.com/contact-us/refer-a-friend.html

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

The permalinks for Child Pages don’t reference their Parent’s permalink.

    Please explain!

Why don’t you try creating some child Pages and actually have a look at their permalinks?

I did and I’m using the plugin Custom Page Extensions. My pages are this mysite.com/page1/page2. BUT, he wants mysite.com/page2.html even though it is under page1.html.

    Thanks
