I have had a problem for 2 days with syntax errors. I have reloaed files both wp and wp-content and wp-includes, and have copied the wp-db.php code a number of times but nothing is working.

Here is my url and you will see the following error messages:

    Error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /home/marlamu1/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 11

What else can I do I can't get to my admin panel to delete any plugins and I went to my control panel and deleted the bbpress files that I was aware of that may be a plugin as this is what I was working on before these errors - bbpress forum.

Please help I am completely at my wits end!

I'd consider downloading a fresh copy of WordPress from the Download tab at the top of this page, then use something like 7-Zip to extract the files. Then reupload the files to your host. Review Uploading WordPress to a remote host and make sure you are using ASCII transfer mode in your FTP client.

If you have an .htaccess file, that too could be causing the problem--rename that if necessary.

How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?
