Well, there are answers when you google that error message. Looks like it’s a problem with the number of MySQL users and memory which means it’s your server. Seems like your web hopsting company isn’t looking hard enough for the problem.

Thanks for the response! I’m going to talk to my server company about helping me with this and hopefully it can be resolved..

I talked to the people at my server and they said I haven’t had that error for a while now.. so it’s probably not related to the issues I’m having. This is so frustrating!
Your server company is being lazy. Tell them to look at their logs. Or find other web hosting; it’s not difficult to move to new hosting.

I run a high-traffic website that gets lots of comments, and I’ve been having a frustrating issue with the comments, as well as submitting other forms (like updating a post) on an almost daily basis for months now. It happens at random times and the only thing that fixes it is restarting my server, but this only fixes the error for a few hours.
The main issue is that whenever a comment is posted, the site redirects to a blank page on Firefox or returns an error message on Safari. The comment DOES get posted, but the comment form redirects to comments-post.php, a blank or error page.
This error seems to happen on other pages that submit form data at the same time as well – updating a post in WordPress, for example, returns a blank page (in Firefox) as well, even though the update DOES save.
I’ve also noticed that whenever this happens, I can tell because on my WordPress dashboard, the AJAX elements such as “Incoming Links”, “Plugins”, etc. won’t expand. They just hang there and the data never loads.. it has to be related because it only happens when this blank page issue does.
Here’s the thing: this happens randomly and I don’t know why. THE ONLY THING that fixes it is restarting my server. I have NO idea why this fixes it, but it does.
I contacted tech support at my web server company and they say that they think /tmp was full, because /tmp gets emptied when Apache restarts. They also said that my site was returning this error:
081030 8:33:17 [ERROR] Error in accept: Too many open files in system.
I’ve been having this issue for MONTHS now, I’ve tried all the fixes listed here in the forums, and NOTHING seems to work except restarting my server.
If any of you have ANY idea why this is happening or what I can do to fix it, PLEASE help. I’m at my wits end – I’ve been talking to my tech support people and they’re no help, I’ve googled this issue over and over, but no one else seems to have this same problem. Like I said, all the typical fixes (updating my comments page theme, deleting a blank line in a certain file, deactivating all my plugins, changing themes, increasing php memory limit, etc.) have not worked for me.
I’m tired of restarting my server every 6 hours to make this go away… please help.
