# PLEASE HELP! Archived Posts Missing

 * I was trying to move an install of word press from one server to another. I thought
   I was successfully, until I noticed that all of the archive links are not working(
   there is no archive folder it appears). Im not sure if maybe it’s just a permissions
   setting on my new server or what … I have a dump of the database, and it seems
   like that is where all the data is stored . . .I freaking out because I think
   I may have lost all of the archived stuff, If any one can please help, It would
   be much appreciated.

 * If you have a database backup, and the backup contains the wp_posts table, then
   know wp_posts has all your posts (which includes what you call all your archives).

 * the wp posts are there, it’s when you click the categories, nothing seems to 
   come up

 * click on categories . . . there is no folder, is this something I have to create
   manually? it worked on the old site I read throght the link, but it’s still unclear
