  • I have been trying to get in touch with the developers of this theme for at least a week now. I really need some help with getting the theme up and running.

    1. When uploading both the responsive blogger theme, I get this error

PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

I decided that i wanted to use this theme since I was having issues with editing the other responsive child theme. I wanted the widgets to showcase recent blog posts, but the plugins that I was using didn’t work.

    2. How in the world do I edit the child theme??

When I was able to upload the original responsive child theme (which took me forever because I kept getting a message that the parent theme was missing), the child theme didn’t come with any php files. It just came with the responsive design html/css. I couldn’t find any of the files inside it when I was trying to edit it in the Editor section of the Appearence section.

Do I have to paste the php info from the parent theme into the child theme, or is it suppose to come that way??

  • Where did you download this theme from?

    themeid.com

Download the theme to your computer, then upload it to your site using the instructions outlined in this Codex page. This is a server/ISP issue – not a theme one.

I done it and it still gives me the same message.

Is the serve/ISP issue have to do with the hosting

The server is controlled by your hosts. Your ISP control your connection to the internet – including your own site. How did you upload the theme? Via Appearance -> Themes?

    Hi simonerenea,

Responsive Blogger – http://themeid.com/demo/responsive-blogger/ even though a fully functional Child Theme was made as an example for TID Community just to help users and to help them get the Blog and default layout on the same page.

Now the error you’re having as noted by esmi is tied to your server, most likely permission issues, but it could be other things involved as well. Contact your hosting provider and ask them to check the server for you.

ZIP folder is not damaged, I already checked that 🙂

    Thanks,
    Emil

P.S. For the future references, anything you download from our forum, please feel free to ask us directly we need to take the load from WPORG as much as we can.
