# Please help a noob!

 * Here is the deal, I need a blog type thingie where new posts go below the old
   post. And I do not want timestamps on anything I post. Basically what I am doing
   is making a fictional journal, Roleplaying the life of a character in a game.
   And of course when I am ready I will unleash it upon the universe so they can
   read it top to bottom like a story… a friend of mine mentioned I can accomplish
   this with wordpress but so far I can’t figure out how.

 * I think it’s important to know there is two setups of WordPress available.
 * Self hosted – You download WordPress, you setup it up on your host of choice,
   with your own custom domain.
 * Hosted – WordPress offeres a hosted service, where everything is done for you.
   You select a theme, some plugins. No setup required. Just signup.
 * I’m going to go out on a limb and say you wanted the hosted services.

 * Thanks for the info! This is great! Took me a while to find what page the loop
   was on but I am pleased with how easy it was. Only thing I’d like would be able
   to hide the “posted on” dates, but its no big deal I guess.
 * And I am actually Self Hosted, I’ve had a hosting account and domain for nearly
   a decade and I’ve never really done anything with it till now.
